Lost and Found

Be on the Lookout for Buck

Buck is a five-year-old neutered male. He is brindle-coloured with a white spot on his chest, a docked tail and is wearing a brown collar. His tattoo number is TA3923.

Buck was last seen on 29 December 2011 near St. Malo in the RM of Franklin. It is possible Buck was picked up and brought to Winnipeg, as there have been possible sightings on Mountain Avenue. If anyone has any information that could bring Buck home, please call (204) 427-2122. He is very missed and in need of medications. Reward offered if anyone can help get this little boy home.

Buck, lost dog

And Dixie

Dixie will be very weak. She is missing form Charleswood near Loudan. It is thought that she may no longer be on the move as she required immediate medical attention. She sill die without her medication! Please check your property under decks and in bushes—anywhere a scared, cold, sick dog could possibly hide. Remember that even a very large dog can hide in a very small space, so please check everywhere! Please call the Animal Emergency Hospital located at 400 Pembina Highway at 452-9427 to place Dixie in their care 24/7 (or any vet office that is open) if you are unable to reach the owners. Dixie will need medical assistance immediately because she has not been receiving her medication for Addisons Disease.

Dixie a lost female Neopolitan Mastiff

A tip that was received on 21 January 2012 stated that there was a large black dog running in a field East of La Salle. A tracking dog that has been to La Salle has indicated that Dixie's scent was not present in the La Salle area. We ask that residents of La Salle please still keep a lookout for her as the weather conditions were not ideal for tracking the day the tracking dog was out there. One resident of La Salle that reported a sighting of a dog that looked like Dixie by the Golf coarse is confident that the dog WAS Dixie. Her scent was present around the McGillivray area between the Perimeter Hwy and Route 90 (approximately where Loudoun Road meets McGillivray) and farther south as far as the Perimeter Hwy (around the La Salle turn off) but on the NORTH side of the Perimeter. PLEASE keep a lookout for her. A reward is offered. Her family can be reached at 415-6416.
